Welcome to the Goodlife Safe Community Training Page

Goodlife Community - Child Safe Statement of Commitment

Goodlife is dedicated to upholding the rights of children and young people by providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where they can thrive. We are deeply committed to our Safe Community strategy, which ensures that clear policies, procedures, and practices are in place to protect the safety, welfare, and well-being of all children and young people in our care.

Therefore, annual training is mandatory for all staff and volunteers. Follow our three steps to complete your training for 2025/2026.

1. Blue Card Requirements

All volunteers working with children are required to have a blue card connected to that organisation, please complete either part A or B, if you already have a blue card please link it to Goodlife and click on the button to complete the Code of Conduct.

A. Don’t have a Blue Card or it has expired? See below

Before you begin, be sure to have your drivers liscence or other ID ready to create an account, this will then be linked with Transport Mainroads Dept (e.g License). When you click on the link scroll down to the section titled ‘Apply for a blue or exemption card’.

STEP ONE: Create an account. Once you have made your account, if you are a volunteer, they will need to see that you are linked with an organisation before you apply. Once you have created your online account, please send Sarah (swall@goodlife.org.au) your online account number and your date of birth, and then we will be able to link you to Goodlife.

STEP TWO: Once linked, you will be able to go back into your account and apply for your blue card.

B. Have a Blue Card that is up to date?

Please follow the link below to make sure your Blue Card Details are up to date and correct. Then, read and agree to the Code of Conduct.

2. Watch the training Video (approx. 20mins)

3. Take the Quiz

Once you have watched the video, complete the quiz as evidence.
