Sunday Services:

Our Sunday services provide a space to explore and deepen your faith while fostering community.

  • Sunday family gathering at 10am

    The main gathering is held in the stadium at the Goodlife Community Centre, 100 Buderim Pines Dr, Buderim. Kids and Youth church run concurrent to the 10am gathering. Afterwards stay and share in tea, coffee, and conversation.

    Join us upstairs at 5pm for our Night Gathering, hosted by our Young Adults team. Each week, our Taste & See gatherings offer a unique and varied experience, designed to help you encounter the goodness of God through worship, learning, and community.

    Directions

  • The bulk of the parking is located at the rear of the building. Disabled parking is available at the front, side and rear of the building. Parking is free and there are no time limits.

    Church is held in the sports stadium, located on the lower level. If you have children you can check them in at the upstairs foyer.

    If you are entering from the rear carpark you will enter on the upper level of the building. There is both lift and stair access to the lower level.

  • Goodlife is a member of the Qld Baptist churches. We believe that God has called us, as a local church and part of the global church to faithfully follow Christ and join in the mission to see all people come to a knowledge of the love of God and God’s plan to renew all things.

  • Lead Pastor

    Around 10,000 days ago, and 4,000 kays away, I was a country bumpkin covered in mud & full of dreams, working on our family cattle & sheep farm in West Oz. Wow, it’s been a wild ride since then! I’ve been partnered with the love of my life V since 1993, & dad to supa-groms Mo, Tino & Evey for long enough to know that being a dad is more awesome – & far more exacting – than I ever could've dreamed. After spending time for a few decades on the East Coast & abroad, we moved from San Diego to be part of Goodlife in mid 2025 – and are stoked! Since I decided to follow Jesus in 1984, I’ve been intrigued by the depth of God’s crazy love, and seeing how He is at work in the world. I’ve had the privilege of traveling to over 60 countries, had my heart filled/broken/refilled too many times to mention, learned from innumerable mentors & cultures, & along the way formally studied history & literature, law, leadership & organizational dynamics, & (my abiding passion) practical theology. I surf (badly but often), eat pizza (in V’s opinion, too much) and don’t like kale (at all). Apart from the fambam, nothing makes me smile more than shepherding God’s missionary people and conspiring together with mates to change the world. I now get to spend most of my time shepherding leaders – ‘those who’ll take on hell with a squirt gun.’ Through mates, deep-community, & (above all) God’s kindness, I’m more convinced now than ever that the only worthwhile spirituality is one with boots on, that walks.

    I feel so blessed to be part of the Goodlife team! My story to date has been one of adventure and grace. After encountering God’s power & kindness, I decided to follow Jesus near the end of my first year at the Uni of WA in 1993. Talk about a crossroads! I started dating Nic shortly after, a love-interest which has only grown in the ensuing few decades. Before all that I grew up in a non-Christian environment, & because of that I think I especially have a heart for those who don’t know the hope & peace of following Jesus. I love being a wife & Mum, doing-life with mates, & being on adventures as a family. I have a suspicion that our best moments might be appreciated long after they’re lived. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed working as a musician, a teacher, a misso, a business owner, & as a pastor. I love to make music, read good books, host people in our home, & shepherd & mentor people. I also love diving into the Bible & watching the Spirit transform lives and communities. I’ve been dragged by God (& Nic) into more uncomfortable places than I care to remember – whether preaching, traveling the globe, or even just loving-on those whose worldview is different to mine. I have a hankering for a backyard beehive, & still think Nic should give kale a chance.

    Ruth has been part of the Goodlife Community Centre since 1989; having grown up and served in a variety of roles she carries the DNA of Goodlife. Her current role facilitates connection into community where belonging, health and hope are found.  She has a special interest in practical care where needed and pastoral support.

    Emma and her family have been part of the Goodlife community for over 30 years. She loves the heart of Goodlife to see people flourishing physically, emotionally and spiritually. With a background in marketing and counselling, she brings a unique blend of expertise to her role.

    Pastoral Care Team

    Joren loves both teaching the bible and adventure sports; and he is passionate about combining the two. You can often find him surfing or riding his bike, while supporting people as they learn about and experience Jesus.

    Laura loves creating safe spaces for young people to grow in relationship with God and the community around them. Laura has been part of church ministry and global missions for many years now and loves connecting with new people and experiencing God through different cultures.

  • Kids Pastor
    Pastoral Care Team

    Loving all things fun and joyful, Emma brings expertise as an early childhood educator to the role of Kids’ Pastor. The result? A kids ministry that is full of life, vibrancy, empathy with a heart to see kids of all ages grow in their relationship with Jesus.

    Isaac has been part of the Goodlife community since 2019 and joined the youth team in 2023. Now serving as the Youth Intern, he leads the ministry while studying a Bachelor of Theology at Morling College.
